This afternoon we broke into our production groups for the first time. Room 2 hosted the pirates. So we started learning the song, and started figuring out a dance to go with it...
Then we popped outside for some walking-in-a-straight-line instruction...
...which we may have to keep practicing 'till everyone's got it (!), then a quick session of passing netballs.

Uniform – all children will wear their house colour tee shirt and green school shorts.
Please remember it can be very cold at the quarry so warm clothes for prerun and afterwards.
As the ground gets wet a spare change of socks also.
Food – the terrain is hilly and uneven so remember to have a good breakfast. Remember water bottle and a substantial morning tea. The students will have lunch back at school.
Parking – The run takes place on the dog park side of the quarry. Parking is in the dog park carpark and also on Cashmere/Kennedys Bush road. The ranger has requested that we do not park in the main Quarry car park.
Postponement date – postponement date will be Tuesday 12th May, there will be a text if postponed and also look on the school website for updates.
Spectators – There will be an area allocated for spectators to watch the races. To help make the event run smoothly and on time we do ask that you don’t stand with the students. As this is a school event please do not bring dogs.
Spikes - Year 5-8 students are able to wear spikes.
Parent Help – A huge thank you to the parent helpers who have offered to help marshall on the course.
We look forward to your support at this cross country event.
Many Thanks
