Robot Friday

Good afternoon,

This morning for a touch of poetry, we read Here Comes The Robot.

There's some tricky Mitre in there.

Then we popped outside for a spot of Seaweed with Room 4.

Yum!

A bit of library followed...

...and that we pretty much our day. Pretty much.

Next Friday will be a bit of a different story - we're on Assembly!

Fun Day Friday

Good afternoon,

And a lovely afternoon it is too.

We kicked off today with a bit of poetry...

...which I tried to green screen, but the green screened clip ended up all over their jerseys...and some faces! I think the screen needs to take up a bigger part of the picture.

(And yes, I did double check that plural...)

We also visited the library with Room 6.

And a good time was had by all.

Have a great weekend,

Mr Grant

Video Thursday

Good afternoon,

As well as being the venue for the OLA Week 4 Newscast...

(put together by the media team - I was just looking on! He he, I taught those Year 7s above as Year 1s in 2009!)

...Room 2 was a hive of such activities as writing...

...reading...

(with which I'll experiment with the green screen later this evening)

...and what could be described as Liturgical Dance!

See you tonight at the Family Fun night,

Mr Grant

Oh, and this just in...

Outside Tuesday

Good afternoon,

'Twas a lovely afternoon for some P.E.

Or at the very least to chase after some tennis balls!

Have a nice evening,

Mr Grant

No Photos Monday...

...though I hope to write up Parakaraka's photo book tonight.

Good afternoon,

Today started with some maths assessments, just so I can get a clearer idea of what the children already know and where to next, some writing...

...some reading...

...a review of yesterday's Gospel reading and homilie...

...and a wee discussion about 'net etiquette.

Have a nice evening,

Mr Grant
