Eva Friday

Good afternoon,

It's been a pretty cool old day here today in Room 2. We had a visitor!

Sean, from Canterbury Raptor Rescue came a visiting with Eva, the harrier hawk. He rescued her a couple of years ago, and they've been firm friends ever since.

It was sooo coooll!

Then...it was on to some TRUMP!

And a good time was had by all!

Have a  great weekend,

Mr Grant

Marae Thursday

Thank the Lord that the weather has just arrived now, and not at 9 o'clock this morning! It's been a positively balmy day up until now...

Good afternoon,

Now that it's turned wooly,

Today we...

...had a great time at the marae. We did a bit of this...

...a bit of that, and a bit of the other thing. (I was too busy joining in to take further photos!)

Funnily enough...

...the statue game was the most popular! (Though, those #s don't add up...)

Suffice it to say...a good time was had by all!

As for tomorrow...we're going to have a feathered visitor. Ella the harrier hawk, spokes bird of Canterbury Raptor Rescue, is coming in at about 11. All things being equal. It'll be so cool!

Bye for now,

Mr Grant

Move That Car Wednesday

Good afternoon,

Today, after a touch of this...

...and that...

....the children concluded their science experiments from Monday. How to move a model car.

Good stuff!

Tomorrow, please send the children to school in full uniform for their marae visit.

Morning tea and lunch will be provided for them.

Have a nice night,

Mr Grant

Many Photos Tuesday

Good afternoon,

And a lovely afternoon it is too.

This morning had many photo opportunities.

We headed over to Hoon Hay to view their art exhibition.

It's well worth a looksee.

Then it was pretty much time for some more Move and Improve.

And a good time was had by all!

Sorry, apart from pulling apart the title page of the big book for blends...

...we did no reading this morning, as I took the time to give Ma Reading Group a fairly detailed reading assessment. 1 to 1.

See you in the morning,

Mr Grant
