Funday Friday

Good afternoon,

We've had a pretty relaxed day today, what with two late nights of Treasure Island and all.

So, Room 2, along with elements of Rooms 12 and 6 watched Treasure Planet.

Some of them even watched all of it! (I knew it would be a hard ask for all of them to sit and watch it in it's entirety, so I broke it into more manageable chunks. Which worked for some, not so for others. Ah well, their loss, I think it's a great movie!)

The rest of the day was spent, well...

Wet Day Thursday

Good afternoon,

Although, to be fair, I've seen better...

Anyhow, this morning was fairly routine for a Thursday.

A meditation for prayers...

...some Maths, Phonics, Writing and Reading.

After lunch, well...we were pretty laid back.

Clever wee phone!

See you tonight for the final [sold out!] performance of Treasure Island!

Same as last night - the children are to rock up in costumes by 6 o'clock.

Well, the matinee has been and gone, and it seems to have been well received. Yay! No shots of the event, I was busy with the choir...

...but I did manage to catch these shots this morning...

IWB Tuesday

Good afternoon,

The Interactive Whiteboard got a wee workout this morning, firstly during our Big Book Instruction...

...where we were identifying blends...

...as per the Word Detective.

After lunch we were back on the IWB to sort out the Our Father Prayer...

...and then we broke into groups to try to explain the first part.

We'll try that again next time.

Right, tomorrow.

Luke and William, I don't seem to have your pirate costumes here at school. Bring them tomorrow.
