ANZAC Friday

Good afternoon,

This morning kicked off with a nice ANZAC Commemoration, during which Room 2 placed their wreath.

It was great to see so many parents take time out to join us.

The rest of the day was pretty laid back. Some poetry...

...some TRUMP, some library...

...and clubs.

Enjoy your ANZAC parade in the morning, and the first Mondyisation of said ANZAC day on Monday. Which should mean that I can attend another X Wing competition on Saturday, and still get my prep done before Tuesday. Sweet!

Kelly Sport Thursday

Good evening,

This morning, unremembered by my, Kelly Sport came to school to run us through a few activities.

And a good time was had by all. I've got some KS flyers to hand out, but I was out of the room this afternoon learning some new cool we apps for the iPads that I'd like to use in the room...once we get them loaded onto our iPads.

Tomorrow morning we are having a school ANZAC Day commemoration at 9:45. Please join us. (And please pray for fine weather in the morning!). The children are to wear their formal uniform, and, if they are wearing any medals, wear them on the right. Poppies can be worn on the left.

I think that's about it. (I must remember to clean my shoes...)

ANZAC Wednesday

Good afternoon,

This afternoon Room 2 made a message for our New Zealand peace keeping troops in the Sinai...

...since they can't be home for ANZAC day. Just to let them know that we're thinking of them.

Earlier in the day, we had a spot of writing...

...some wriggling...

...and some wrinkling.

Have a nice evening,

Mr Grant.

Indoor Physical Activity Tuesday

Good afternoon,

It was a bit of a drab old day here today, so, after running in the occasional rain (sounds better than spit!) after morning tea, we came back inside and finished our fitness courtesy of Go Noodle.

Funnily enough, the same was repeated this afternoon, after singing. Three laps of the field, then four Go Noodle activities, so as Bart Reynolds could upgrade his mustache.

(To be fair, it was only lightly raining when we left the room - it was more steadily raining when we got out to the field!)

And since we only had about five minutes spare before pack up, the children exercised some TRUMP key competencies independently.

And a good time was had by all.

See you in the morning,

Mr Grant

New Term Tidings

Good evening,

And we're back into it! In fact, so much so, that is is all I managed to capture...

The children [trying to] play a game of Chinese Whispers. (We had just finished reading a story where the characters were likewise engaged.)

P.E. day tomorrow,

Mr Grant
